My Step 1 readiness.

A private estimate from your own practice performance — not a public calculator, not a prediction. Only you see this. It updates as you practice, so you can watch your trajectory over time.

Your trajectory

Each point is your estimated pass likelihood after that practice session. The line moves as you do.

How this is computed — everything on the table

  • Your data only: every Step 1 practice question you've answered on this device, weighted toward recent sessions.
  • The mapping is simple and honest: sustained accuracy at or above 80% maps to the top band; 70–80% developing; 60–70% needs work; below 60% at risk. These bands are calibrated against the national first-time pass rate (93% for U.S. MD, 2025), not a proprietary model.
  • What this is not: not a prediction, not a guarantee, not a substitute for NBME self-assessments taken under real conditions. Your school's academic support team reads readiness from far more than practice accuracy.
  • Private: this estimate lives on your device. Nothing here is shared, uploaded, or visible to faculty.

The single best next step: keep practicing. Every session sharpens the estimate — and, more importantly, sharpens you. When you're consistently scoring in your target band here, confirm with an NBME self-assessment under timed conditions.
